Development Partners
Development partners can be consulting companies, software companies, or third-party products. In the chart below, there are listed all products, which are provided or used by the BOB’S_WORLD Company.
There are 3 categories of products:
- BOB’S_WORLD products
- Third-party stand-alone products
- Third-party technology products
BOB’S_WORLD products, e.g. BOB’S_GOAL, uses the stand-alone product OpenProj to graphically display and maintain the implementation process (bi-directionally integrated). BOB’S_WORLD products, e.g. BOB’S_WORLD, uses the library of JFreechart to display data in BOB’S_WORLD graphically (capacity charts). And BOB’S_WORLD products uses consulting companies, e.g. for Controlling, to have specific business knowledge provided.
Third-party stand-alone products are products that are not modified by the BOB’S_WORLD company, like databases. They are parameterized to make them work best with BOB’S_WORLD products. Third-party stand-alone products, e.g. Eclipse, are also used for the development process of BOB’S_WORLD products.
Third-party technology products are products that provide functionality that is used within the BOB’S_WORLD products. A good example for a third-party technology product is jQuery. jQuery is the technology the BOB’S_WORLD company uses for the new styleguide (user-interface with respect to page layout, navigation, and usability) to be implemented.
